abstract:
in recent decades, analysis and control of large-scale nonlinear systems have been an active area due to the broad range of applications. this talk is on a feedback control problem of output regulation for large-scale nonlinear systems. we discuss two types of output regulation problems of related: decentralized and distributed control problems. a networked internal model is defined to bridge the gap between these problems. the result shows that the complexity of internal model based controller construction can be significantly reduced by virtue of networked internal models with certain communications among controller stations.
biography:
daboxu received the b.s. degree from qufu normal university, qufu, china, in 2003, the m.s. degree from northeastern university, shenyang, china, in 2006, and the ph.d. degree from the chinese university of hong kong, shatin, hong kong, in 2009. he was a postdoctoral fellow at the chinese university of hong kong in 2010. he is currently a research associate at university of new south wales at the australian defence force academy. his current research interests include large-scale nonlinear systems stabilization and output regulation.
